Me again!!

Mr T and I caught LT's cold 2 weeks ago. LT is now better and back at school, although he is still blocked up.

We have had the blocked sinus, sneezing, hot & cold spells, headaches and cough. My GP gave me antibiotics as mine went to my chest.

Last night Mr T started to feel like he had flu. He was clammy and cold and also had an upset stomach. he looks really pale this morning.
I have terrible dizziness and feel like I am not on this planet, so it is obviously my ears that are blocked.

I rang the GP for Mr T and got him an appointment, but there had been an accident near us and we couldn't get off the estate. So I asked to GP to call us instead. He is leaving a prescription out for Mr T and says that if I have an ear infection my past antibiotics will cover it.

What I need is advice on how to unblock us and stop us feeling so dizzy. We have been taking sudafed and inhaling steam and olbas oil, but to no avail.
I have suffered from labyrinitis before and that is how I feel now, so I know it is my ears.

Help!!!

:ill:

How about on of the new plug ins you can get. Its like an air freshner but it releases a decongestant. Sorry T can't think of anything else.

Hope you all feel better soon

Can you get some ear drops from the pharacist or nose drops? They gave these to my little one when he was all blocked up and I tried them too and they seemed to help along with vicks inhaling and I've heard loads of good things about the plug in decongestants that tact is talking about.

Must be awful being all blocked up and dizzy.

I would ring NHS direct and see what they say. They have this website too:

You are already doing all that I would have suggested. I'm wondering if you both need stronger anti biotics. Remember that the stress of having a NFH can lower your immune system, I would advoise as much bed rest as possible.
