Tried everything but still cannot get games to save,,,

Hi,
After many hours of fiddleling with comp i still cannot get any games i play in the arcades to save score:(

I have reached many a high score but only to find at the end of play an error message coming up saying cannot save score,,,

I am using firefox so tried to use internet explorer but when i do use this browers for NFH website it says i am not allowed in the games arcade...

Can some one please give me some advice because it is driving me crazzzzzzzyyyyy:(

Hi Geg,
I play Tetrus and got a massive score after a hell of a lot of playing (It is the kid in me) and it would not svae this is so maddning.
Tried everything nothing worksssssssssssss,,

I'm having the same problems, some games won't save at all. some will, and some log you out after a certaib time (the Pacman and Pacman Deluxe games do this for me if I play longer than a score of 10K)

Which ISP do you use? I know Matthew has flagged problems for AOL users, and NTL users seem to have the same issues as AOL users, but other people with other ISPs seem to be having issues too.

Sometimes mine don't save either,and sometimes I get logged out too, but there is no pattern to it. I don't think there is anything that can be done though, if I remember rightly.

Hi Eeyore,
I do not use AOL or NTL or any of the ISP stated from Matthew that are having problems with the game score.
This has been going on for two weeks now and its sooooooooooooo anoyying ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I must admit i am a bit of a game addict,,,,,,,,,


I am so glad that i am not the only one having problems with the game arcade..
Maybe there is something wrong with the website,,,hoping it can be fixed,,,

Don't know what it is, it seems so strange, BM I think your idea of making a list of what isn't saving etc is a good one

I was having this problem with Mahjongg (the kitchen utensil one). It worked to my advantage, though. As well as not saving my score it also wasn't counting the number of times I'd played - so I could play as many times as I liked ... ;)

A few weeks ago we had a power failure. One, or more, of the FireFox files got damaged and I couldn't get it to start. In the end I uninstalled it (along with all the cookies, history, etc) and re-installed it.

The games are now working as they should.

sometimes if you are playing in the arcade for too long you will get logged out of the forum as there is one hour log in time if you do not refresh

so if you are polaying one game more than once and you are in there over the hour the software sees you as in active and bumps you off, this is due to the fact when you play a game...no matter how many times, the game software is down loaded on to your PC and even though you are starting new games the forum software sees you as in active and is not refreshed

persoanlly I will have two windows open, one for new posts and one for games, and in between levels or games I refresh the new post window and this solves the problem.

Connect 4 is saving for me, sorry
