Do you and your partner have a song that is special to you? One that brings back memories and always makes you smile?
Mine and Mr DG's is "Without You" by Neillson - NOT the Mariah Carey version!
It was the first song we danced to as a married couple!
One we were in the town shopping centre and they played it - Mr DG started crooning and demanding that I danced with him - I dove into the nearest coffee shop for a break!
There is no one song, but several that remind me of our 'early days' together
I can't even remember what our first dance was to now

Ours is Shania Twain - You're still the one
We also like The more I see you, the more I want you by Michael Buble and Happy Together
When LT's head popped out the Carpenters came on the radio singing Close to you, so that is his song. LT also used to sing Sunshine by Gabrielle to me when he was little. :)
Your song DG was No 1 when my Brother in law was born. Lovely, but not MC version!
Although today Mr T was ironing in the kitchen and was singing Hopelessly Devoted To You to me as I was snoozing on the sofa!

I love that song. We dance round the kitchen to that. Not cheesy at all
 You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off you.........
Leaving now
Ours is "Have I told you lately that I love you" by Van Morrison or Rod Stewart

Ahhh that's lovely
CN, that's why we picked that song too as Mr T was 16 when we met and I was 19. By the time he was 17 we had LT.Here we are 14 years later, still in love.
Sparrow - you know you can always rely on me to make you happy.

Our song is ......I got you babe, by sonny & cher.....can't remember why though, we were only 13 when it came out
Me and hubby had our first ever slow dance on the night we met to 'I've Had the Time of My life' from Dirty Dancing. we don't really think of that as an our song though. For some reason hubby always thinks of our wedding music first(that I walked down the aisle too), Pachabel's canon. He always gets his soppy look when we hear that.
Our little one was born to the sound of Daydream Believer so that has a speacial place too :)

Our songs evolved, I think our favourite now is Joan Jets and the black hearts " I hate myself for loving you "
