Has anyone managed to get their council tax re-banded due to material change? e.g. new noise source.
No I wasn't able to. Our ex NFH was running a motor business from his home, always had cars hidden in the garage at the rear of his property; paint spraying and we could hear the noise from all the grinding machine he used. However, when we contacted the council as we said he was running a business it was the same old story, here's a diary sheet fill it in for 2 weeks. They did follow it up but never actually caught him in the act, so to speak :angry: So could not pursue it further :angry:
However, the police were interested tho ;)
