hmm in two minds over this, on the one hand schools should be able to deal with this type of thing themselves, on the other hand if school bullies thought they would end up in court because of their behaviour it might make them think twice?

I agree, schools seem to have had all their powers taken away, but as you say Annabel, it might make some of them sit up and take notice. There is nothing worse than a bully.

Personally I think its quite a good idea ;) . It gives schools somes seroious ammunition to deal with the problem. I think a lot of these kids might back off if they knew they could get a criminal record. After all, if they did these things in the streets they could be charged :)
