Well I moved from the 'flatlands' of S Wales because of persistant NFH problems, so the article doesn't hold up. It's always a cliche of Wales being 'valleys', most of S Wales is not that way. Anyhow, I moved into an ex-mining valley and find it very peaceful in my street, mainly because the walls are 18 inches thick. There are idiots here too but I don't live nextdoor to them.
English people have settled here too and are made to feel welcome. As for the rugby team......... hmm, enough said. By the way I am not into rugby, sheep or choirs but am Welsh. The media is full of cliches. Carefull what you read.
