Head bans Mothers Day cards (http://uk.news.yahoo.com/08022007/344/school-mother-s-day-ban-attacked.html)

What a stupid idea. :P

I grew up without my Dad around and my Mother was quite flighty. I used to make my cards for my Nan and Grandad.

So if these children haven't got a mother around, why can't they make their card for whoever looks after them? Their Dad for example.

If their Mum is dead, then they can still make a card for her if they want to surely? My friend still buys a card for her Mum and puts it on her grave.I do the same on fathers Day for Grandad and Dad.

Political Correctness gone completely mad.

 what ever next?

what about no valentines cards in case you upset single people

no easter eggs for those who dont like chocolate or are on a diet

No St Patricks day for those who dont like the colour green

and no national anthem for anyone who is not British!

how daft :(

My mum would be gutted if I didnt get her a card

Silly wally's!

If we banned everything that might offend someone we might as well curl up and die now then.

We'll end up having Primary Caregiver's Day at this rate! I get all sniffy when my girls bring home hand made cards.

Lt's primary school used to palnt a daffodil bulb for each child when they joined the school. On Mothers Day they each picked 5 daffodils and wrapped them up for Mothers Day.

Only problem was this was a Friday and LT would hide them in his bedroom until Sunday! Still lovely though!

I still have all his cards he made me and they are in a memory box so I can embarrass him when he is 21.

So if 5% of any group are excluded then everyone is? Well that about wraps it up for football based on the recent crowds at West Ham!!!
