if i was bernard matthew turkey i'd be praying for bird flu, they are kept in appalling conditions, the ones that died are the lucky ones. 1500 birds in one shed, what a way to live :(

I only buy organic or free range meat, but I suppose that this is no protection from bird flu.
I don't think there is any need to panic yet.

A vet who attended this bird flu outbreak is being monitored in hospital :o
but the good news for the meat eaters is that t turkey and chicken is going cheap at the moment ;)
