It's wonderful to see justice being done. I just pity the poor souls who are next in line to have them as neighbours.

Does anyone know, if a family is evicted like this, do the council rehouse them or are they left to fend for themselves?

You think this is justice? Seven years taken from people's lives having to put up with them for so long, let's face it they would have been better off murdering them! Seven years with good behaviour, 3 meals a day, no bills etc and peace at lock-down time!
Something has to be done in this country to stop protecting the guilty and letting the innocent suffer for so long. Seven years is outrageous, and lets not forget the lasting effects that these people will suffer.

I had a family like that - they were untouchable - I was told - You'll never get any one of them inside a court room'
But I persevered and I did - I was the only one and it cost me dear in more ways than one, I got £10 for £1000 window paid at 50p per month and the court came asking me if I really wanted the money!!! I was also told by a police officer - you'll never get an asbo - you're the only one affected and he was right. The crazy crew eventually moved further up the road and caused all kinds of mayhem but nobody did anything about it and of course when they got bored they still came back down the hill and smashed my windows to get their tenners worth.

It's a shambles the way the law is acted upon.

Peaceseeker has said it all and very well at that...........my thought exactly :notworthy:

Planet I don't know how you coped quite honestly............yours was what nightmares are made of and I :notworthy: :notworthy: you.

It only takes murder to get justice (even then I am not to sure if justice is done).............shame someone has to die before our plights are recognised, have you noticed how the authorities keep saying "Lessons have been learnt" tell me how many times you have seen/heard THAT ? well then why are these terrible crimes still going on then????

the council probably wont rehouse them (although not impossible) which means they fall into the private szector, this is supposed to be a better option as if there is any trouble in a privately rented place the landlord can get rid of them once the tenancy expires...BUT as we all know some landlords are particularly useless in enforcing the convenants in a tenancy agreement.
