Due to demand, they have set up a special part of 10 Downing Streets Web site for petitions, the most popular being road tax right now.
If anyone wants a look, you can see it HERE (http://petitions.pm.gov.uk)

Hello
I wish someone were listening regarding road tax. I bit the bullet and dobbed my nfh in, on december 10th, for the fact that her tax expired in August 2006. It would apear that nothing has been done since the tax disc continues in use.
I wouldn't usually do such a thing but it irks me that someone who lives completely at the tax-payer's expense, and who has no regard for private property, can escape payingthe minimal taxes applicable to her. It irks me further that "hard-working families" are drowning in taxes and utility bills whilst others exploit the state.
So Tony, if you are listening, stop "listening" (because you're not really, are you?) and actually do the job which you were elected for. This includes catching up with tax-dodgers!
To allthose ho do pay their taxes. Don't bother! It seems that you can take at least four month off, in regard to car tax, without suffering any intrusion from the DVLA.

I did this with my NFH too. His tax had run out over 6 months ago, and the one of his other veihcle he kept swapping from car to van so it looked like he was taxed. I did this THREE times, and I don't think they ever took any action at all. Heh ho!!!

I like the one about tony Blair resigning.
It was rejected as it contained Party Political Material.
Whatever happened to free speech? We voted him in, we should be able to kick him out!!

Those rejected ones really restore you faith in the great British public.
Although, if the PM really can get Graham Coxon to re-join Blur then I may consider voting for him after all. A missed opportunity there, I reckon.

His department don't even reply to any of the petitions handed in. It's a travesty and a disgrace, and of course this is just a deflection exercise. As in 'Lets make light of it'.......Let's not!
