The other day there was an article about the human right of escaped prisoners, the police would not issue photographs as it could infringe their human rights.

Now the council IS naming and shaming the litter louts

The police can't but the council can huh?

Litter Louts to be named and shamed (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_headline=litter-lout-pictures-go-on-net-%26method=full%26objectid=18415699%26siteid=94762-name_page.html)

I get a little fed up with prisoners arguing their 'human rights' Frankly, when they commit a crime worthy enough of a guilty conviction warranting a spell in prison you give up a lot of those rights.

Fair enough, you get a bed, 3 square meals etc, but if you have escaped prison and you were a convicted murderer, you have no rights, and if your photograph is shown and it helps catch you, then so be it.

Crimewatch shows loads of pictures of wanted criminals every month. So what, will they now have to blur them out and just give descriptions? Will CCTV footage that is used to convict as evidence not be allowed to have stills taken from it?

I mean, these people commited a crime. Since when does that mean you have those sorts of rights?
