"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be the title of the seventh and final book in the series. J K Rowling has said that 2 people will be killed. I can't wait to read it! Is Dumbledore really dead or was it all a ruse?

I always forget what happened in the last book by the time the next one comes out! :D

I have to admit I keep hoping that Dumbledore will turn out to be alive still.. I thought the ending of the last book was brilliant.. Can't wait for this new one to come out!

my son reads harry potter, the only book he hasn't got is the last one. Maybe i should not get it if it's for older people.

I agree.

When I watched the film it wasn't what I had built up in my head at all! Now when I read the books I get the film actors in my head.

You can get fabulous audio books for the children to listen to.LT loves them and they are read by Stephen Fry.

The hot rumour is that it will be published on the 7th July this year.

The reason... the date will be 07.07.07 and apparently the number 7 is JK Rowling's favourite number  .

I always thought this should be called "Harry Potter and the demise of JK Rowlings Money Machine (barring films and merchandising)"

I wonder what her next idea will be - mayby she will end up like Terry Pratchett and base her new books in the same 'universe' but with different characters, or perhaps she has run out of ideas? Fair do's to her though - she could have retired after the second one!

I'd like her to write some more books as I like her style. She COULD easily afford to retire though - she's flippin' loaded!
