Just seen this on Sky news - we have got some terrible weather coming our way in the new year if their predictions are right
Please, no more wind til after the decs are down, we're taking them all down on the 1st January, and even if it's howling we'll be out there hauling them in
A white christmas would be nice but seems unlikely :(

I am more worried about the temperature. 12-14 in January isn't normal.
I dread to think what next Summer will be like.
Me thinks our planet is getting a tad too warm.

Oh no! As if January isn’t gloomy and depressing enough as it is, now we have the weather from hell to look forward to!! :(
Do you think they could be scaremongering again; weather forecasters never seem to get the weather right these days! They have a job to get it right over 24 hours let alone forecasting 7-10 days in advance :badmood:
I do hope they have got it seriously wrong; I don't mind snow, or rain but I absolutely hate strong winds
Yesterday and today we have had lovely hard frosts & the trees looked so picturesque with the frost on the branches - but it was very :cold:

I sincerely believe that the human race was designed to hibernate from Jan 2nd until mid-May. We'd miss the horrid weather and all wake up slim. When I rule the world - hiberbation will become mandetory!

I love the snow, my Mom has a big hill in front of her hers, makes for hours of fun whilst the little ones watch from a far. We have always used my Moms baking trays much to her dismay.
I hate strong winds as we live on a hill and the noise is so loud. I am sure one of these days my roof will blow off. :D

I love snow and cold.
Firstly as that is what it should be like in Winter.
Secondly no motorbikes up the alley, no screaming kids and no work if I get snowed in!!
Bring it on, I have a wooden toboggan ready and waiting! :jump:
Today we have had rain and it was quite windy & cold http://bestsmileys.com/winter/14.gif But now it is very very windy :(
They do keep saying that the gales are coming New Years Eve which will be an awful shame for people who have organised celebrations :cold:
Also not good weather for your Decorations Eeyore :(
More gales forecast :( I wonder if the Hogmany party in Edinburgh will still happen. It was cancelled a couple of years ago because of the weather and so many were left disappointed.
Not me though, I'm always in the warm at my mum's

It has been quite warm hasn't it? I haven't had to wear my hat or scarf yet!
Bit chilly the other day Thursday I think, but other then that hardly any frost etc.
Raining today and very windy, want to curl up on the sofa as throat is sore, but have to go out! :(

The weather is really bad here gales and rain and we picked this weekend to hire a van and move some of our things in storage.....never again. I have never heard such language from Mr. P
And it wasnt the weather he was cussing
Gales and rain here, we've had to lay some of the Cnhristmas decs down as they're just going to get damaged, I'll be glad when it's tomorrow and they're all in and safely away
