somebody is trying to teach me a possible way of making money but my brain keeps shutting down.

can somebody explain this to me in a way that isnt maths or is it just maths?

Ok, brief intro to CFD's. Contracts for difference. A contract is an agreement to do two things, a buy and a sell, but not necessarily in that order. I might 'buy' to open the contract and then 'sell' to close it. i hope that the price will rise from one to the other. Or i can 'sell' to open and then 'buy' to close. Here i hope that the price will fall from one to the other. Now i can see no maths in that.

Geared trading. If i open a contract with a sum of money the amount actually invested is 100 times as much. the additional money comes as a loan.[/b]

now i look at that and bearing in mind that i'm a very clever girl, I JUST DON'T GET IT
