Well, here we are at the X-Factor final already!

I think they both did well on the night, but it was their single that clinched it IMO. Leona sang it a hundred times better and deserved to win over all.
I have to say that Ray was a true gentleman last night. I can't imagine that awful Ashleigh behaving so dignified in the face of defeat somehow. Ray is a very likeable as a person but I just couldn't see him selling albums.

Leona deserved to win, but it was a stunning show and I think Ray came across as such a lovely genuine person :D

Caught bits of the show while babysitting for god children while best friends went on Christmas party night :rolleyes: i was not surprized she won but will she be another Shane Ward or a Will Young? i guess we will have to see

Simon has offered Ray a recording deal to make a swing album. Good. Ray does swing very very well and I think it'll sell well, I'd buy it. :lol:
I think Ray is well and truly set up for a mega career on stage - I think that would really be his niche as he's a good actor and dancer too :) .
I hope Leona can cope with what's about to happen to her !! sounds like America is just ready and waiting! :bigeyes: And of course Xmas no.1 - a foregone conclusion, surely?
Did anyone see misery face Ashley when the whole lot of them sang together? oooh he needs a good smack & sent to bed with no tea!! :lol:

Yea I read that today supposed to be done in the same studio as Frank Sinatra in America; he is so made up about it. I will definitely buy his album :thumbs: but probably won't be buying hers.
The only thing I thought about the final was the song that they both sung was not a "Ray" song, it was too low to start off with and was only suited to a female singer who could sing "loud" like Leona; she sang it very well.
Anyone noticed that LEONA is A NOEL backwards :rolleyes: very festive :hihi:
And little Shaun did well too, bless, he got through the whole bit even with his nerves :wub: just want to huggle him all up :lol:
