Very sad indeed, i read the story of Dessie a few years ago, it was fabulous to see what he overcame

I totally disagree with horse racing and gambling, but at least Dessy died in retirement, having lived to a ripe old age, which is more than can be said for some.

It is so sad but he lived to a good age and also he died in his sleep, not in great pain that he had to be put down.
