but, lets just say I had a neighbour 'round for a meal and tied him to a chair and then wanted to cut his ear off (rhetorically speaking, of course!) How would you advise I went about this operation, Mr Unhappy??

What a strange question to ask.
Why would you want to cut someones ear off.
This is a DIY forum to help people with diy probs.
I am not a surgeon or some mad loony who gets
his kicks out of maiming people. :(

Use a blunt rusty knife like the rest off us would.
Dont forget to bite him really hard on the bridge
of the nose first. :D
