Last week i cleaned out my shoe closet. Some pairs Iīve never worn since many years. If they are still in decent shape i donate them. If they are worn-out or hideous...i think itīs the best to put them directly into the rubbish bag. I was astonished that my neighbour blamed me. She said that the donation bag is the right choice for all my old shoes. I canīt believe this  . I donīt think that homeless people have a need for my 15!!!yrs old(-fashioned) 4 inch leather boots:

Ewww....i think these old pull-on boots contain a lot of bacteria 8-X . I know that sounds harsh, but i think from the health aspect they are really gross items and belong into the rubbish bag together with other non-recycable household waste. My neighbour is a recycling nut but i think this time she is wrong.
Who had right in this discussion ? Donate these 15yrs old boots or t*ss them ? Recycable items or are they old yucky rubbish ?
