Has anyone tried one of these? I have and I hated it!! I bought it from PC world in August for £79.99
I tried to record The sixth Sense last week on ITV 2 with it and the HVR 1300 closed down for no reason making the screen go blue.
It also closes down while I'm watching regular TV shows and there is no teletext (as the instructions claim).
there are other bugs too, such as Channels 1 to 5 not coming on and it has locked my computer up forcing me to unplug it at the mains
The help sections are very complex and when I contacted Hauppauge on the 22 of August by to ask why the volume on my HVR 1300 didn't work I got no reply!!! :blink:
What made me angry was the fact I payed a bit more to get one which i believed was better quality!! (Similar ones were going for half the price in Argos!) :banghead:
I have now got my old 12 inch TV up and running again to replace the HVR 1300
