How much longer do we have to suffer with noise from neighbours; it's getting worse each day; this man life must have been a living hell for him to take such drastic action :sad:

It's really sad when something like this happens, although the lack of sleep and hysteria can affect even the sanest amongst us.
The whole issue here is respect, and that's what's really lacking in today's society, especially when it is burdened by the difficulties of bureaucracy. We are an angry nation just waiting to explode.

Gwent police confirmed Fallon did not have a gun licence.
Det Chief Insp Harry Gamlin stated: "We're making inquiries into how he obtained the weapon. He'd not made complaints to us about any nuisance from his neighbours."
I do not mean to sound unsympathetic but surely this says it all, what on earth was this guy doing with an unlicenced gun and why had he not complained to the police - we will never know.
A trajic and unnecessary loss of life !!!

If he had moved to escape from the noise of the city he had perhaps complained about noise before. And got the usual runaround so why would he believe this time would be different? :(

I agree Neighboured, if I have similar problems again I for one would not go down the "official" route. Waste of time, effort and sanity!
NB I KNOW NFHIB does not condone retaliation in any way. :rolleyes:
This made the front page of our local paper last week as the man who died was from this area originally... It pains me to read this as I often can really understand what makes people do this when you cannot ever get proper help to resolve situations!
My thoughts are with his family...
