:bigeyes: OMG!!!!
Is anyone else watching Tenants From Hell on ITV right now?
It finishes at 10pm and the first half has been :bigeyes: :o :wow:
It is basically a different angle to the Neighbours From Hell programme.
[Not that there is anything wrong with tenants, we have excellent tenants next to us and couldn't hope for better neighbours, but it is more from the landlords point of view, and includes properties being used to grow cannabis, tenants threatening to kill the landlord etc]
OMG, we are running very late tonight and I was eating a pizza when that came on. :cry:
I couldn't finish eating it 8-X
For those not watching, the toilet was overflowing and so they used plastic bags instead and left them all over the house 8-X
I think it gives human beings a bad name :cry:
The footage was quite incredible :o 8-X
Many of these people had originally come across as nice, respectable & decent people - now how many of us have experienced that old chestnut with our own NFH ? :rolleyes: :unsure:
Regardless of whether they were tenants or homeowners, these people would be the same wherever they lived and treat people the same wherever they lived. :sad: :cry:

Yup, I watched it too. I was shocked actually at how easy it is to take posession of a property and then let them take months over getting you out again.
That man was awful who threatened that lady, but then she really should have gone with her first instincts which were to say no.
I've seen too many of these programmes. I think the trouble is it does give the nice tenants a bad name. People often think students are the same, but they are usually the ones who treat the places well!
The toilet was yukyy. I had fortunately finished my meal, but boy, was it gross. I don't think I'd ever want to get into the property business. I don't care how lucrative is can be, I'd rather not have money than all that hassle!
I was shocked at what happened to those landlords, but more disgusted by the fact that once again, the police could do nothing to help them :( Like that woman with the drug dealer in her bungalow said, she got no help, what did he have to do to her before she got help. And when she was ringing the police and he was in her house, what on earth were they doing telling her to stay on the phone :blink: Like that was going to save her if he attacked her ;)

Id be sooooo peeved if i couldnt get my house back :badmood:
Although it wasnt funny the womans (who`s boyfriend took a picture of one of the rooms)face was superb when she saw what had been growing in her bedroom :bigeyes:
I agree about that toilet,, that was one of the most disgusting things i have ever seen,, you dont leave it when it backs up for crying out loud :blink:
I felt sorry for all the landlords but that scottish guy who said he faced financial ruin really tugged at me,,we wouldnt get away with not paying rent for half as long as that tenant did! :rant:
This was sure an eye opener.... would make me think twice before renting out a property.... the rights tennants have compared to L/L grrrrrrrr sometimes I wonder who makes up the rules!
