What a truly wonderful story to read; it brought back so many memories of a childhood in those times.
How I used to love watching the "Darling Buds of May" - When watching this programme I became so engrossed that it made me feel part of the programme. David Jason was brilliant (as always) in the series as "Pa Larkin" as was "Ma Larkin"; and who would think that years later that their on screen young vivacious daughter; Catherine Zeta Jones; would marry Michael Douglas.
