:D I bought a bottle of this tonight. I LOVE regular Coca Cola, but the calories are off putting. This new drink has zero sugar and I think it tastes a lot more like regualar coke than Diet Coke. I'll be buying it from now on.
There are also zero versions of Lilt, Fanta and Dr Pepper to try - happy slurping!
Sounds interesting, but does it still have an artificial sweetener taste? I can't abide them, they leave such an aftertaste behind . :sicky:

I haven't noticed an aftertaste. The best thing is to try it for yourself
Nice one DG - I have spotted that in the shops too and wondered what on earth was the difference between that and diet coke  .
I'll give it a whirl then - mind you, I have sortof got used to the diet coke taste now - lime only - and prefer it to the regular coke!
But I'll def give the 'zero' a go :) . :glug:

i always thought that calling them "diet" was very misleading  there is not a single gram of fat in fizzy drinks, therefore they CANNOT make you fat as fat makes you fat. the only reason for drinking "diet" drinks is to protect your teeth from all that sugar except that sweetners are just as bad for your teeth.

Can't sugar make you fat?? All those calories etc??
I was given a free can of this on the way into Tesco's yesterday. Its really nice. I don't like the full sugar coke because it makes you teeth furry

sugar contains no fat, it can't make you fat. best way to lose weight (IMHO) is to check the fat content rather than the calories.
The only thing that makes you gain weight is taking in more energy (calories) than you use up. In other words, it doesn't matter where the excess energy comes from, theoretically eating too much lettuce could make you gain weight.
Fat is considered fattening because of the four energy-providing nutrients (fat, protein, alcohol and carbohydrate) and fat is the most energy dense food. One gram of fat provides nine calories, compared with seven calories from one gram of alcohol, four calories from one gram of protein and 3.75 calories from one gram of carbs. It makes sense then that cutting fat from your diet is the easiest way to reduce your energy intake.
Sugar is much lower in calories. The trouble is, it's very palatable and is neither satisfying nor filling, so it's easy to eat too much. It also tends to be found in foods with large amounts of fat, such as biscuits, cakes and sweets. If you want to lose weight you don't need to give up sugary foods completely - stick to fruit and veg and starchy carbs, which release energy slowly and help ease hunger pangs.

me too  gimme full fat every time
Ooh, I like the sound of this - never seen or heard of it, but then I do live in the middle of nowhere and haven't been to a supermarket for a couple of months! I hate the taste of sweeteners but real coca-cola is just a bit too sweet for me. (I've started getting addicted to Schweppes Russchian recently - boy, is that bitter!)
Must look out next time I am in a town.... cheers! :D
Anyone remember TAB from the 80's early 90's!
Tab is just Coke Zero, it's just returned back to the UK under a nice new name to re-promote it!
Tab has still been being sold in many European countries for years....
I did buy a bottle from the supermarket... but I don't like it, prefer the diet version of coke!

I am allergic to artificial sweetners, especially aspartame which I assume replaces the sugar, so I'll never get to taste it!

I tried coke zero today - it doesn't taste as 'artificial' as diet coke but it still doesn't tase like full fat coke to me
