On Friday we attended Little T's football presentation evening.

We were so proud. He went up on stage and collected his certificate and medal. We were all cheering and I could have cried!

He is playing in the Disability World Cup next week and is representing France. He is very excited.

:D

LT did his World Cup today.

Unfortunately they lost all their games, but they played so well.

The scores were:

1-0 to Italy

4-2 to Sweden

4-3 to Ivory Coast

1-0 to Japan

3-1 to England

LT was representing France. Of the 6 goals his team scored LT scored 6

We were so proud and he has 2 lovely medals and a shirt. We also got some lovely photos of him.

:D

A very proud Tortoise Family.

LT isn't 12 until July, so he plays for the Under 11's.

Last night his manager rung us and asked if he would like to play for the Under 16's in a festival being organised by Chelsea FC!

LT is very excited. His manager said that he wants him to play as he is showing great potential.

That's my boy!

I'm sure LT would love that. He is one for the laydees!

He visited a girls grammar school last Friday and loved every minute of it!

:D

They don't really take their ages in consideration for LT's league Dibuzz. They are a special disabled league so it is done on age and ability. Some of the 15 year olds who are small and have mobility problems play on the Under 11's!
Mind you LT is 12 in July so not long to go.

They all wear a tag with their ability level on it so everyone knows where they should be, so angry parents can't moan about ages so much. One of LT's friends who is 13 can barely move, but is quite a big lad so people think he is much older then he is and you would be surprised at the parents who don't get into the spirit of the game and moan the whole time.

Us we just go along and cheer until we can't speak anymore!!
