The House Martins arrived back yesterday and are now making their annual nest in the eaves of the house next door.

They only arrive once it's warm enough so there'll be no more frosts in these 'ere paaarts until the autumn at the earliest...

We've got blue tits in our nesting box and I've got hayfever - it's definetely Spring!!

It is nice to go out into the garden and potter about (NFH permitting that is!)

Time to start apply the St Tropez self tan!!

Send the housemartins this way, I saw one last Sunday and on Wednesday night there were some up near my mums (she lives less than a mile away) but none here yet, we've bought a housemartin box and put it up as when we moved here we had a nest but in the winter we took it down to paint the eaves and last year the martins didn't build the nest again - so we've bought them a new pad this year and put it up :D
