A 24-year-old woman who killed a neighbour in her front garden has been jailed for four years.
Angela Walmsley (pictured) attacked Marie Gillard, 33, outside her home in the Tonge Moor area of Bolton, Greater Manchester, in September last year.
She was convicted of manslaughter last Thursday at Bolton Crown Court.
Greater Manchester Police said Ms Gillard was the victim of a "calculated and sustained attack", prompted by a dispute between the two women.
Walmsley, of Scowcroft Street, Tonge Moor, punched and kicked Gillard several times at her home in George Barton Street, causing fatal injuries.
She denied murder, and was convicted by the jury of manslaughter.
Det Insp Alex Millet, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "Throughout the course of this investigation and trial, the defendant has consistently failed to tell the truth regarding the circumstances leading up to the death of Marie Gillard.
"It has, from the outset, been the belief of the police that this was a calculated and sustained attack with the intention of causing serious harm to Marie.
"Walmsley has shown little remorse and made deliberate attempts to conceal her actions."
