ITV 1 is making a new series featuring stories where people have used camera footage effectively.
The series will feature cases where members of the public or an organisation have been the victim of a crime or a personal mistreatment and have used video footage as a way of collecting evidence. In most cases this footage has been handed over to the police for subsequent legal action. In some cases the footage has been used to solve a mystery where the perpetrator is unknown and in other cases it has been used to gain hard evidence where there is a clear suspect.
The footage may have been filmed on CCTV camera, home video, mobile phone or on a secret camera.
