Bbbbrrrr, cold! :cold:

I also use the Met Office Weather Site (http://www.met-office.gov.uk/index.html) - it's got the most accurate info. :)

We had a flurry of snow here on the south coast about an hour ago which is quite unusual - normally we get rain. But temperature is rising now and sun is shining beautifully

Bonkers Mad!!!

We had 6 inches of snow this morning - had day off college and kids had day off too. Went down to local park, built snowmen, christened them NFH and took fustrations out by pelting the sh*t out of them with snow balls. Well worth the forst-bite!

We've had snow here ever since 26th December (Southern Sweden). It seems to be finally leaving now though as the Sun is paying us a daily visit now and often stopping for a couple of hours. As opposed to the winter months when it hardly turns up at all :D

I think the southern "edge" of the snowfall was around Stafford - was up there this weekend to collect my (nearly) new 4x4.

Woke up this morning and first thought - snow = playtime. BUT, as soon as I got onto the main road then M6 - where was the snow? it had already melted by 10 am.

Disgraceful. I want my money back, (not really - the joy of driving a newish car is so good, it makes all other worries fade into the distance). :D

It is treacherous here, the snow is still here but is now covered with ice :( work car parks not gritted, and I've fallen on one of the paths on my way in this morning :(

Still love snow, hate the ice, and I'd rather be at home watching it :P

Really treacherous on the paths and roads here. Everyone walking is going very carefully. The clouds are lifting and there are patches of blue sky so hopefully we will get a bit of sun that may melt the snow.
My dogs have not been out today because of the state of the paths but they don`t seem that bothered yet. Later on they will plan their revenge by going in a cupboard in the kitchen and removing and ragging the contents. The joys of petenthood.

:o Blimey Eeyore, glad you are Ok - good ides to tell eeyore's mam to stay in - no more broken bones thank you :nono: :) .

I hate it now, it's too cold and treacherous...it's just a pain getting around in it. Having said that my Council has done really well to get the roads cleared so well...and most pavements too.

Pity about the school though, their playground was blimmin awful with sludge today with no path cleared and I really thought I would slip over (even with heavy duty walking boots on). Littlest smallest mazza did- even with me holding his hand tight :( .

Roll on sunshine and/or rain, I don't mind snow for the first few hours when it's fresh, but can't deal with it at all when it is like this.

And to cap it all...it's only gone and started to snow again...!

It's been positively balmy here on the south coast today compared with just recently. I've even turned the central heating right down and done a bit of spring cleaning (net curtain washing et al).

Though the forecast is for the temp to drop right down tonight to -3 or something.
