i have just had to bury one of my cats
she didnt come when i called her last night so i went out looking. found her on the field opposite my house, rock solid. she'd obviously been hit by a car and died within seconds, she didnt have a mark on her just a little blood around her mouth, she was a year old. my youngest (11) is absolutely devestated
RIP Mr Bean

That's a very sad thing to find, BM :( I have had two cats run over in recent years(one survived), and it's desperately upsetting :( I can't think of anything comforting to say - it's a shame whoever it was hadn't the decency to try to let someone know.
Take care,
Sapph :(

Thanks guys :flowers2: i really think ive dealt with it well this time, maybe because i found her straight away and she didnt seem to have suffered. its surprising though, the space that 1 cat leaves. i mean physical space (not the emotional hole). you'd think that with 10 cats i wouldnt really notice the difference but i really do. everybody i know is secretly thinking that i'll go out and get a couple of kittens now but i don't feel the need this time. i've decided to save the space in case it's really needed (which leaves me right open for a hard luck story, which i get even when i havent got a space  )
