I do think it's difficult to be royal. We're all born with a certain amount of freedom to choose our own paths in life... it must be difficult to grow up knowing your entire life is already mapped out for you.

The royals get a lot of stick, and I've heard people going on about their money and status without giving a thought to how restrictive it can be to be so "owned" by the nation. I'm no royalist - even though I did have a huuuuge crush on Prince Charles when I was 9 :blush: - but I think it's unfair to make judgements without walking a mile in the other chap's shoes and all that.

I do think some of them do behave like total turnips though. :lol:

I thought it sounded quite good what he was doing cos it will be in the charities services of HSBC, sounds very useful :) .

He'll train as an officer in the Army too, I think if it all goes to plan, it will be all to the good :D .
