Here is a link from the BBC for National Donor Day (http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/awareness_campaigns/oct_donorday.shtml)

Also a link from This Morning for information here (http://www.itv-thismorning.co.uk/HealthArticle.aspx?fid=253&tid=2)

I have always been in two minds whether or not to donate, I have always told Mr T he can decide when I pop my clogs!!

I think I will have a good read of the information and see whats what.

I carry a donor card and also had it written into my will that it is my wishes that any of my organs that can be used, are. Our solicitor then registered me on the uk transplant list :)

I always think that when you're gone, the soul leaves the body anyway so if anything left behind can be recycled, then that's a good thing

I carry a donor card, it's very important to me.

I also try to give blood (although last time I had a bit of an 'incident' but it hasn't put me off)

:)

Thanks for that T. I've added a link to the organ donors register here (http://www.uktransplant.org.uk/ukt/default.jsp) and also added it to the advice here section of this forum
:)
