I caught another cold from Mr T and thought oh it's just a cold.How wrong could I be?!!!
I have had no voice since Saturday and a hacking cough. I finally gave in and rang for a GP appointment who told me it has gone to my chest again. He has given me more antibiotics.
I have never suffered with chest infections before until this year when I had that bad one over the summer.
My ribs feel like like I have been punched and I am getting out of breath just walking up the stairs.
Very grumpy. :(
I could do a good side line in dirty phone calls at the moment though as my voice is all husky!! :D

Oh T you do have my sympathy, last time I had a cold I had terrible coughing fits and it really wears you out.
Trouble is even though GPs don't give out anti-biotics as much as they used to, the nasty germs are still becoming resistant to the drugs and you may think you have fought an illness off successfully but it will be lurking in your system waiting to attack again when you are feeling low.

Steam inhalations are great for chest infections just plain steam or add some sniffing stuff like Olbas to it mmmmm!
I got a chest infection the other week too and I was shocked really, just thought I was being feeble, but coughing all night long drove me to the doc...you just never know!

Thanks everyone. I just walked up to the post office and back. It usually takes 5 minutes there and 5 minutes back. The whole journey took me 30 minutes!! Going to have a lie down now!!

Poor Tortoise, hope those antibiotics kick in soon,
I am also under the weather got a sore throat and a cold, i am struggling here at work and just as soon as i finish this bit of 'essential' work for the Boss, I am off home....
