View Full Version : A Mouse In The House!

Dilbert, our black and white cat has bought in a live mouse and lost it somewhere in the lounge!! To cap it all today it's LittleMiss DG No 2's birthday sleepover party. I can just imagine this critter putting in an appearance, resutling in 7 hysterical 7/8 year olds!!!!

The mouse is actually rather cute looking, but occasionally scurries from under one settee to another, obviously trying to find it's way home. Dilbert keeps trying to pounce, but misses it. The poor little thing must be terrified.

I feel like that enormous black woman in bloomers from the Tom & Jerry cartoons!!! "Thomas"!!!!!

Being a Domestic Goddess, the thought of a dirty little creature leaving droppings in my house makes me feel all queasy. Once it's gone I'll be on my kneess scrubbing in disinfectant all over!!

Fatty Arbuckle, our labrador, is watching the entire circus with a raised euyebrow and I swear he is chuckling!! The mouse was within inches of his nose at one point and he merely observed it disdainfully.

I think I'll buy a humane mouse trap and try to catch it overnight, then I can release it back to the wild. Dilbert will be terribly cross with me, but I can't face handing it over to him for a horrible death!
