Yesterday was my shop day for the last fortnight as you know I had been away for a few days - so everything had run out. I get a lift to the nearest town in safety.
While I was away someone came from Cleveland to see the house.
They wanted to buy tickets and pushed a note through the door with their telephone number on.
I wasn't sure if it was a wind up but phoned them - a charming lady ex teacher interested for her kids- with a view to selling or letting if they won it.
However she told me- and these are her words-
'What's wrong there? My husband was sitting in the car waiting and some youths came along and sat on the bonnet of the car - he had to bang on the window to get them to move.
I think your house is a jewel in a junkyard- it's such a shame'.
I told her everything about the area and the house and said I am not going to lie to you - the house is an investment if you win, you must make up your own mind. She said she would think about it.
As I've always said - if I'm so wrong about everything - buy my house - but there are never any takers!
May be you should offer your house to the Lotto Lout... give them a taste of their own medcine. Or rent to violent nutters coming out of prison after very long sentences.
Very tempting to give them a taste of their own medicine

It might -this is a serious point- make a very good hostel. Have you thought about contacting the local Mental Health Trust to see if they wouid be interested in buying it?

A witch hunt !!! and all saying the same thing - that I was an undercover journalist and I came to make money -
There was trouble in the village yeah but I made it out to be worse I did the things to myself!!!!!! Always the same argument and best of all - a policeman was 'told I was a reporter and then he got the sack ( I'm that powerful) - he was sacked because of the forgery of a witness statement.
I was getting paid for all the articles in the papers that I had written - perhaps the journos should take that up with their union - I mean isnt that sleighting them!
BTW I rang the police ....twice ... they said they would ring back when I asked for someone to attend - they never did and no police were visible inside.
It could have turned very nasty and no-one was there to protect me.
The official/unofficial meeting was chaired by the local councillor - the one Im still waiting for a meeting with and when asked to do an interview with the camera team - or yes they filmed it - refused.
I didnt - they were surprised I went, all very surprised, but as I said I have nothing to hide and I will not run away.
I will go in MY own time not THEIRS.
Bonkers Mad!!!
